Are You A Big Cat Sceptic?
There are quite a few 'Big Cat Sceptics' out there! Perhaps YOU are one of them! It's OK, those of us who have seen big cats in the wild in Britain understand that some of you may be sceptical that big cats are living in the wild in the British Isles! It may, after all, seem so far-fetched to some to think that pumas and black panthers and other big cats could be living in our woods, valleys and National Parks!
The interesting thing that I and others have learned through meeting people who have seen big cats in Britain however, is that many of them were also 'Big Cat Sceptics', until they actually saw one themselves! When I have helped Rick Minter to man his Big Cats tent at shows in the West Country, like the Mid-Devon Show or the Dunster Country Fair, we have met SO many people from many walks of life, including police officers, who have come to the tent to tell us about their sightings, and a good number of these people have admitted to us that they were entirely sceptical about the idea that big cats were living wild in our countryside but had completely changed their minds!
Perhaps YOU'LL change your mind like they have done and it might be because YOU actually see a big cat in the wild in Britain YOURSELF or a trusted friend or member of your family does or maybe because you will find big cat field signs when you are walking in the countryside, like paw prints, scats, scrapes, hairs, claw scratch marks on trees or animals that have been freshly killed and completely eaten out with two puncture wounds on their necks!
Keep an open mind, read the accounts of big cat sightings like mine and listen to the varied testimonies of people who have also seen them. One day YOU just might do so YOURSELF and won't that be a privilege!
