Two Pumas In A Devon Wood
This photos shows what I believe are two juvenile pumas in a Devon wood. They were photographed in late March 2025 in the same wood where one of my cameras caught the back end of a suspected adult puma on the first of February 2025. The animal on the left is stocky and powerfully built and you can see the thick legs and a strong muscular haunch. Its back rises up at the back end, which is typical of a puma. The head looks round and just look at those bright forward-looking lantern-like eyes! The tail is probably tucked in and out of sight. It's possible that their mother is watching them nearby or maybe they are now on their own. Their scale is certainly right.
